Yesterday I did a live Weather Channel segment via Skype from my hotel room in Providence, Rhode Island. The Weather Channel segment hatched from a post I did a few weeks ago called Top 5 Cold Weather Destinations as a Kensington Tours Explorer in Residence.
I mentioned Alberta, the Western Canadian province featuring Calgary, Banff and Jasper. Alberta is one of my favorite places in North America and one of the most beautiful in the world.
I also featured the worlds largest island, Greenland; which I cannot wait to get back to sometime soon! I also mentioned Norway and two of my favorite hikes of Kjeragbolten and Preikestolen. Additionally, I mentioned the most efficient place on Earth, Switzerland and New Zealand, one of my favorites that I spent one of the best months of my life back in 2003 and have been back 8-9 times since.
Winter is right around the corner so start prepping now!
NOTE: Obviously I recorded this off the TV as I was not able to get a link as of now. If I do I will replace this ASAP but you get the idea. My apologies for poor audio and video.
Where’s Ulaanbaatar? It was 12 degrees this morning with snow on the ground.
Feels like Scottsdale.
