Thirteen years ago today was the worst day of my life and the worst day in the history of America. For all Americans, but especially for those of us who worked in the World Trade Center or knew anyone who passed away on September 11, 2001; today is always a difficult day to get through. The horror still haunts me daily and motivates me to this day.
For me, it is extremely important to always remember my good friends and countless former colleagues who did pass away that horrible morning and be extremely thankful for those who survived and are still with us; including one of my very best friends, Mike, whom I am thankful for each day.
To one of my all time favorite people, Andrew Stergiopoulos, or just Sterg-I miss you always brother and when I’m in Greece in a few weeks I’ll be thinking of you; also Monique DeJesus; Billy Tselepis; Lynn Morris, my eSpeed/Cantor Fitzgerald colleagues, the incredibly brave FDNY, NYPD and everyone else who passed away during that awful day and since fighting for our country abroad. You guys are always in my thoughts and will never be forgotten-your spirit lives on forever and touches me each day. I truly cannot believe it’s been thirteen years; it seems like yesterday.

Wow. You were in the WTC on 9/11?
Hi Lee,
