South Beach in Miami
There are beautiful beaches on the Goa Coast of India and also in the Maldives
I have to add Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa, the Endless Summer lover in me loves it and the beach is as killer as you’d expect along RSA’s beautiful Garden Route
Nha Trang, Vietnam
Huntington Beach, California USA
Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico
Aruba…the main nice beach is great
I went to several amazing beaches on Kangaroo Island in Australia. I have a soft spot for animals so being able to see sea lions, fur seals, penguins, koalas, kangaroos, and more all in their natural habitat was also a highlight of the island.
Harbor Island, Bahamas is great
I was also in Kangaroo Island and I agree with your statements about the animals in their natural habitats, it is an amazing place as is Fraser Island which was the picture of the day yesterday-although you cannot go into the water because of the sharks
I’m a lot older than you and I haven’t been nearly the amount of places that you have but I love Maui in Hawaii. It is a fabulous place to visit and has some of the nicest beaches I have ever seen. Not to mention the hotels and restaurants are amazing as well.
Mykonos in Greece is wonderful and has a lovely beach
I can’t think of anything better than Galveston Texas
Sardinia in Italy
Whats up Lee…you know I’m gonna say Malibu, when you getting out here again?
I second Maui, it’s amazing there
Wow, a lot of comments on this one, I have to say that I didn’t think the beaches on Maui were that great to be honest and I recall it being extremely windy and I hear its usually like that. My favorite beach on Maui was at the end of the Road to hana which was actually a red sand beach and you would only know it if you read a Frommers guide book to guide you on how to get there which included walking through a cemetary and along steep cliffs, it was pretty wild and then when we arrived it was a bunch of naked hippies hanging out there but the beach itself was spectacular. I have pictures but they’re not digital, I will try to scan them in next few days and get them up, I dont know the name of it either.
Ko Phi Phi Leh, Thailand (off Phuket). Crowded during the day ever since the beach was filmed, but if you stay to camp it is unbelievable!!
