This was my first time ever on CCTV America and we discussed the interesting yet controversial topic of Voluntourism. For those of you unfamiliar it is basically when tourists volunteer-hence volunteer tourism or Voluntourism. They actually pay to theoretically help out in developing nations and villages. There has been a tremendous amount of controversy concerning the ethical and economic issues surrounding Voluntourism. Here is my interview on Voluntourism.
